I've been playing with my new Stampin Up christmas stamps and I Wish scrappin set, just a couple of basic cards so i can mass produce quickly for fundraising for my playgroup

Stash from scrapagogo, their kits always had things i wouldn't think of buying and its nice to experiment

This is a LO inspired from a you tube demo, she did a circle with lots of flowers and cut out swirls but i used stamps for the swirly bits, its nice good to use old stash- i've had that paper for ages

Christmas Banner/ Decoration

cosmo cricket be good papers and chipboard shapes, some bazzil bling, the christmas ornament cuttlebug embossing folder was used on the cream bling on each piece. i also used the sizzix cut and emboss snowflake. the letters were roboed. each piece is 4x6inches. i just love it, i don't want to take it down and wait until December.
thankyou to Dawn S and Maggie for the inspiration

mojo back in town

i havn't scrapped since we moved house in august, just made smaller things. i found my scrapping mojo the other night and nothings stopping me! this one is made with crate paper & buttons from a scrapagogo kit, the other LOs are waiting for titles- a job for the weekend!

cyber crop classes

2 lay outs i found in with a box of paper, i did them in may/june when the last uks cybercrop was on and as we were moving house they were tidied away and not put in an album, the black and white one was made with supplies from a scrapagogo kit

pyramid card

i found basic instruction for this on a blog- stampowl.blogspot i added a roboed star and was surprised by the results- it only took a couple of minutes but looks like it took ages.

christmas card

yes i know its september but at the speed i make cards i have to start early!! a very tallented lady called elaine did a demo of this on Saturday and i couldn't wait to have a go. i used bazzil bling which is terrible to photograph, a cuttlebug embossing folder and an ellision cut and emboss snowflake. so simple and easy to make but looks good in real life.

new addition

heres a quick pic of Rosie our mini-lop.

i love the half up half down look she has at the moment as her ears havn't dropped properly yet.

bad blogger

i havn't posted in ages, i've been so busy selling our house and the de-cluttering and packing which comes with a move, i even surprised myself with the amount of junk i've collected over the years. A pretty shaped glass jar or special xmas card seams harmless enough when you tuck them away in a cupboard but over the months and years they multiply and very soon become boxes of clutter.
Truth be told i'm only posting today because i've packed everything away apart from the PC, so the quiet half hour i've got at the moment when the kids are glued to scooby i would normally be baking or making a sneaky card or Layout.
These 3 layouts were made from scrapagogo kits, i think the pink one turned out well for a boy although my son wasn't impressed with it. i explained to him that i scrap my photos for me, its very rare anyone sees the pages in real life, i share them on here and my gallery on uks as its like minded people who look at them, and its nice to think that someone, somewhere might get an idea for their own pages from them.

dream street papers

some more paper i've been saving for the perfect photo, i machine stitched the paper edges and hand stitched the ric-rak on which looks realy good in real life.

piggy tales- red riding hood

i've been saving these papers, this was the perfect photo for them- i love it when my kids match my papers!!! I put in a close up pic as i thought the flowers turned out well, i hate drawing and writing on LOs, it NEVER looks right, during the whole doodling craze that went on i ruined loads of pages trying to doodle- so this is as near as it gets for me- and it was much quicker than inking every petal!!!!

a white easter, the perks of living north of the boarder! hopefully i'll get lots of photos of the boys playing and i can get a few scrapbook pages done, snowy pics are my favorite to scrap

i'm really not producing much pages at the moment, i normally scrap most evenings but my "mojo" isn't what it was, and i'm just puddling about stamping and making cards at the moment, but when i do scrap i'm liking what i make, which dosn't happen a lot with me, i always wonder if i should have done it differently, but not with my last few LOs, so i'm a happy scrappy bunny

a few cards i made from scraps last night, its my mission to use up all the half sheets of paper and small pieces that i keep. i'm a terrible horder and hate throwing things away which might come in useful.

the stamps are little cotton rabbits and sugar nellies from funkykits.co.uk

1st post

what to write?????

i thought a blog might be a nice way to keep track of the bits and pieces i make. Cards get given away and scrapbook pages get hidden away in albums that no-one ever looks at but me, so its my little corner, for my thoughts, any links that i find useful and the odd photo or 2.
