we had a drive up to the Lecht today, the snow is amazingly deep up there - the 3 metre marker poles are barely sticking out at some places. we stopped the car and i nipped out for a photo, this wasn't the deepest there was, but we couldn't stop there. i didn't want the kids getting squished getting a photo so we found a picnic spot to stop for them to explore a bit- not sure where the picnic tables are though!!
please excuse the boots - they ain't pretty but very comfy!

Great ain't it...you wouldn't think it was just down the road we have none now.
Great photos lots of snow there still.
YOur boots look good, I have heaps of wear out of my cosy boots.
